Electric Vehicles. Are they inevitable in in 55 Seconds
Every Australian will eventually be driving an electric car, but, it’s going to take decades.
Electric vehicles will need to become less expensive and more available.
You can wait up to 2 years for your spec’d up e.v. costing you up to 50% more than its petrol counterpart. This limits e.v’s to wealthier people.
Government purchase subsidies can’t magically reverse the current shortage of e.v’s, but they certainly look good for voters.
It’s going to take considerable time for electric vehicle manufactures to produce ranges affordable for all income groups, and then history shows ,Australia will be on the bottom of their supply lists.
But even then, after the last petrol vehicle is sold it will take 10 years for that vehicle to wear out and be replaced with an electric vehicle.
Current projections tell us that won’t be till 2050
